Our History
Vinnie’s Italian Art Ironworks was founded by Vincenzo Amoroso, who immigrated from southern Italy to Brooklyn in the early 1960s, bringing with him centuries of ironworking tradition passed down through his family.
What began as a small shop on Bergen Street has grown into one of Brooklyn’s most respected metalwork operations — now in its fourth generation, still family-owned, still hand-crafting every piece with the same pride and precision as day one.
Today, Vinnie’s is trusted by homeowners, architects, developers, and the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission for restoration work on historically significant structures across the five boroughs.
